|  Ivana is one slick feeder who deceives people into thinking that if appliances are turned off, they are not sucking electricity and money - when indeed they are.
In fourth grade, Ivana learned that when a power cord (rubber-coated copper wires) connects an outlet to an appliance, it is part of a circuit! As an electron-sucking species of vampire, a hungry Ivana began to notice cords plugged into outlets everywhere. “Hmm,” she hypothesized. “I predict that tasty electrons move from outlets along wires to video game consoles or computers, even when they’re turned off!” Ivana tested her hypothesis by chomping on a charger cord not attached to a cell phone … and “ZAP!” she discovered that electricity is moving through cords even when the electronics’ switches are in the off position. From that point on, Ivana knew her nourishing energy supply from plugged-in devices was and remains unlimited. Bulbman needs your help to defeat Ivana because a garlic necklace will not stop her. Simply unplugging appliances when they are not in use is the only way to send Ivana packing. Please let others know that an appliance is only truly off when it is unplugged; otherwise, Ivana and her kind will stay youthful and live forever.
